Well this week wasn't to bad. I am trying out different tutorials and trying to find my game that I want to make. I think I am probably going to go with making a Hangman Game.

11-30-09 to 12-4-09

Well this week I have been working on my individual game trying to get a good idea of what to do. I am not real sure what I am going to do right now.

11-16-09 to 11-20-09

This week I started thinking about my individual project. I am going to do something like the Impossible quiz. I think it will be entertaining and fun for people to play.

11-9-09 11-13-09

Well this week I got a few more questions done I am going to brainstorm over the weekend to try to come up with somemore Mini Games for our game.

Weekly Review

1. Our game topic is Types Of Government.
2. It relates to civics by showing the different types of government and what they do.
3. Well first things first you can click on one of the people on the screen for a biography or you can click the next button which will bring you to your first question. If you choose to go to the biography you have to click the next button to go to the first question. Then after you answer the first question if you click the right answer you go to the next question if you get it wrong you go to the wrong screen which then you have to go back to the question and answer it again. The same for all the questions on the game. The mini games are a little tricky but we have come up with some good ideas and some good games. One mini game was trying to dodge flying objects with your character and try to trap the odd colored arrow then click on it to go to the next question. Our game is going to have a game after every few questions.
4. Well the players will learn a lot in our game. Our game has to do with government and how they run. We also will help the kids understand the government by showing some of the outcomes and to do that we decided we would use some of the people that were in control in each of those types of governments. Which leads to our characters, our characters in our game are Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, and George Washington. The reason we pick this people was because they each did something in there time of the government. Also we plan on having some of questions about the government along with questions about the people we chose asking what they did that led up to them being in power and while they were in power. Also our mini games can help them understand a little bit about the government as well being we are trying to make them go along with our questions.

This week we have been working more on our game. My partner seemed to be having an easy time I sorta struggled eariler this week but, I got my self back on track.

Civics catergory

This catergory wasn't to bad I didn't mind it. My partner and I came up with an idea pretty quickly on what we were going to do. The game is suppose to be fun and eduactional and I think we will meet those standards.

10-19-09 to 10-23-09

Well this week we were visited by Globaloria people. They came and helped us with our projects and to see what our game was about. Also I finally figured out how to use the buttons this week. Our game is coming along nicely

10-12-09 to 10-16-09

This week wasn't to bad we learned how to put a button on our flash game. We also had to play a civics game that doesn't really catch my interest to much.

Civics game

Our game topic is Hitler vs Stalin. It relates to civics through there biographys telling about there history and what they did. Also they will learn historical facts through the questions on the game that they have to answer will help them to remeber the biography.It teaches about the communist government and how Hitler and Stalin ruled.

10-5-09 to 10-8-09

This week was pretty fun we are still working on our projects we are suppose to start the the flash I think next week. Also we put a video on our Wikipage which was pretty cool.

A-team^2

The name of my team is the A-team^2. The group members are Andy and me. The game we are making a shooter game between Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler. Hitler massacred approx. 900,000 jews in Ukraine, in Russia approx. 100,000, in Belarus approx 245,000, and in the Baltics approx 228,000.Stalin killed 23,000,000 the purges plus Ukraine's famine. Stalin also starved 14.5 million to death.

week of 9-28-09 to 10-2-09

Well last week was rather interesting my partner Andy and I started on our civics project by drawing up our plans on construction paper. We did everything we thought would be best for the game and then on friday we presented it.

Important tool in Flash

I feel that the action button is the most important due to that without it you can't do anything. The tools on the side are also the most important due to without them you can't accomplish much.

Flash code problems

Well, the flash has had a few problems which are setting us back which is not making me very happy, but over all I don't mind I can wait it out till we get our problem fixed.

Civics game

My Game is on the U.S. Geography you first click the states to learn there capitals then it goes to states and then great lakes. As you get better at them they get harder, but there are only 9 levels for states, 4 for capitals, and goes to letter G for the great lakes in the U.S.

Jury game: This game was alright nothing I could really get into playing alot, but over all not to bad.
Ballotbump: This game wasn't to bad I liked this game out of all the others.
Playingthenews.com: This game was pretty good this game was my second favorite out of the three.
